With over 14 years of experience Mer’s mission is to enable and accelerate the shift toward greener transport solutions. We aim to make EV charging easy and reliable for drivers and businesses.

Who is Statkraft?

Statkraft is a Norwegian state-owned utility company committed to playing a leading role in the development of renewable energy. In the UK since 2006, Statkraft operates renewable production facilities such as hydro-power, onshore wind, and solar, and provides grid and energy services as well as electric vehicle services.

What does "Mer" mean?

Our name is inspired by our Norwegian heritage. In Norwegian, Mer means ‘more’, which fits with our vision to bring more green energy for the world and more clean energy for EVs. We are also led by the desire to find out more about our customers; always learning and always improving to offer a more straightforward charging experience.
