Mer reserves a pre-authorisation fee of £20.00 for each charging session, this is to verify that the card is working and that sufficient funds are available to cover the payment. This does not cost you anything and the charge never leaves your bank account and may temporarily show as a pending payment. This charge is held by your bank, not Mer and therefore how long it is held depends on your bank provider. Yes, we offer 100% green electricity supply in conjunction with Statkraft’s energy businesses.

Our platform will charge the users of your charge point(s) automatically according to the pricing you will have chosen, with minimum manual effort required from you. We currently offer bank card payments and are looking into additional payment methods.

As the owner of the charge point(s) you will be able to set the pricing yourself. Our flexible platform offers a wide range of possible pricing models and we would be happy to help you find the pricing level and model that fit you best.

You can generate revenue by opening your charge points to the public, creating a private system for staff and fleet, or attracting customers with free charging.

With the Operator Portal, you can manage your charge points and consult usage statistics, whilst the Driver Portal will let you view charge points and related pricing, start and stop a charge, follow up on charging history, and add additional members to your account.

Fast chargers (7 – 22 kW) also called, destination charging, suitable for when drivers will stay for a few hours or more – such as close to home, at work, or whilst running errands.

Rapid chargers (43 – 350 kW) are often found on motorways and other areas where dwell time is low, such as service stations. It is useful for drivers who need to charge and go, and therefore will usually command a premium over regular fast charging.

We take care of everything from site survey to charge point(s) installation and grid connection. We can also set you up on our operator portal so you can manage your charge points and provide you with charge cards (if applicable). We work with OZEV-approved installers all over the UK.
