At Mer, we like to make things easy for you, that’s why we give you the choice to charge your electric vehicle as a guest user or by registering on our network for all our public charge points.
This is a Mer fast charger, the power range on these can be up to 22 kW.
As a guest user, you do not need to sign up with us. Download and open the Mer Connect UK app, click on ‘Find a charge point’, select the charge point, swipe to connect and add your personal details. Connect the cable to your vehicle then to the charger and your charge will start.
To stop the charge, swipe stop in the app and disconnect the cable from the charger. A receipt will be sent to your email following your charge.
If you are a registered customer, log in to the Mer Connect UK app, and follow the same steps. You will be billed monthly on the payment card that you registered with.
To charge with a Mer charge card, create an account on the app or driver portal to order it. Once you have received it, hold the charge card on the charger screen and connect the cable to the charger and your vehicle to start your charge.
To stop the charge, follow the same steps, hold the charge card on the screen and disconnect the cable from the charger first.
