Giles is an EV enthusiast, having owned EVs for over 10 years. Trained as an electrician, Giles began his career as an installer/designer of charging infrastructure, transitioning into project management, consultancy, and product development. During this time, Giles has delivered multiple high-profile projects for OEMs and Fleet operators. These projects include ultra rapid chargers (350kW DC) and large-scale AC charging. 

Giles enjoys the technical side of electric mobility, understanding the customer’s challenges and using his broad experience to focus on engineering the solution for the customer. He aids fleet managers with the switch from fossil-fuel to electric-powered fleets and helps businesses to decarbonise their operations. 

Outside of work, Giles is a proud family man, a keen cyclist, a cricketer and an active member of his local community. He is a coach and welfare officer at his local cricket club and works with his parish council on matters such as littering and pollution.
