Mer Acquires Elmtronics and Expands Its UK Electric Vehicle Charging Business

Mer, owned by Europe’s largest renewable energy producer Statkraft, combines the best of both worlds with expertise from the EV charging industry and renewable energy sector. With the acquisition of Elmtronics, Mer is taking further actions to accelerate the electric transition in the UK. The acquisition is pending approval of customary authorities, which is expected to conclude late January 2022.

Mer and Elmtronics will bring economies of scale into the development of EV charging solutions providing better value to existing and new customers.
