Be.EV acquires Mer UK public charging network - information for EV drivers
Mer’s UK public charge points will be fully integrated into Be.EV’s existing network in 2026.
Be.EV has acquired Mer’s UK public charging network, bringing Mer’s charge points into the Be.EV network
Over the next few months, some of your favourite blue chargers will be getting a green makeover as Be.EV roll out across Mer locations in the UK, giving you more places to plug in, more choice when you need it, and one big green network behind the chargers you already use.
Along with the new colour comes access to Be.EV’s top rated network, market leading 39p/kWh The Mega subscription, and the UK’s longest off-peak window from 7pm–7am.
What this means for you
Right now, it’s business as usual.
For Mer drivers, everything continues as normal. The Mer app will continue to work, Mer charge points will operate as normal, and existing roaming partners will continue to work. You can charge exactly as you always have. The changes to Mer’s network will happen gradually.
- Charge points will be rebranded and upgraded where required
- Sites will remain open and operational
- Mer drivers will receive clear communications before any changes affect you
